Since 2013, Zeke & Ross have been creating "A Very Omnichord Christmas" delights with the help of their esteemed producer Dennis McCarke. Following Dennis' tragic death in a woodchipper accident in 2016, the now-duo released a "A Very Omnichord Christmas Remastered: Vol. I-IV, a remaster of their popular catalog which could only be described as "never sloppy" and "the perfect trigger" (weownthistown.net/reviews/zeke-ross-a-very-omnichord-christmas/).

In a foreboding twist of fate, the Christmas duo was brought out of their yuletide retirement when Dennis McCarke was found to have faked his death, having absconded with the literal hundreds of dollars that the band had made with their previous releases. With McCarke back on the team as a marketing intern & studio runner, Zeke & Ross began their first, truly self-produced album, which would become a three-year endeavor leading to the 2020 release of 20 new covers and 20 completely original Christmas songs - "A Very Omnichord Christmas / An Omnichord for Christmas".
